TestWiz.Net is a Web-based test processing and analysis tool that is easy to use and supports any assessment, including exams particular to your state. Test data is stored securely in a relational database making it possible to track results over multiple years and across multiple assessments. The reports are numerous and can be customized.
State Exams
Every state is now administering statewide assessments. Most states provide districts with hard copy reports of assessment results as well as an electronic file with one record per student. The electronic file is typically difficult to work with. And the reports, while numerous, don't make it easy to answer critical questions.
We will customize TestWiz for your state assessments. You will be able to answer questions such as:
- Who are the students who have not met proficiency?
- How did my special education students perform this year versus last year?
- Which areas in my curriculum need particular attention?
You will be able to generate numerous reports, including:
- Class lists for your current teachers.
- Student success plans.
- Item analyses (if the State releases items).

Other Tests
TestWiz is designed to handle any test you are administering, whether it is a local formative assessment or a standardized test. Test data can be loaded in a variety of ways into TestWiz.Net:
- Importing electronic files. If the test results are in electronic format, dataMetrics can create a Test Specification and convert the results into TestWiz format for you. The following are formats that TestWiz already recognizes: MAP (NWEA's Measures of Academic Progress), DIBELS (University of Oregon, Wireless, or EdFormation formats), DRA, and PST (Scantron's program). In addition, we can bring in OLSAT, COLGAT, SAT 10, IOWA, etc.
- Direct key entry. If you have tests that have been scored by hand and are not in any electronic form, you may set up a test in TestWiz.Net and key-enter the results directly. This is useful for DIBELS, DRA, Fountas & Pinnell, and other tests that are hand-scored.
- Scanning. TestWiz can also analyze locally developed tests or other tests you scan locally. Wizard-like interfaces make it easy to create a Test Specification providing details about a test such as the subtests and item descriptions. You can then print plain paper answer sheets and scan them into TestWiz using a low-cost plain paper scanner. More >>
Once the test data are in TestWiz, you can generate reports and disaggregate results for the test. You can even print a Student-History report that shows how each student performed on various tests.
