What is TestWiz?
TestWiz
is an online software application that helps you analyze your school
system's test data. You can easily view data by student, class, school,
district, or even multiple districts. You can disaggregate the
information by cut scores or demographics, or both. You can track
student and group progress over time. You can look at multiple
assessments on one page.
The best way to see how it works is call us or sign up for an online demonstration. For a brief overview and screen shots, you may also take a look at our Quick Tour.
What kind of test data can I manage?
You
can use TestWiz to report on virtually any standardized test, state
assessment, or formative assessment. Test data is loaded by importing
electronic files, direct key entry, or scanning.
What advantages does the software offer over the reports I get from the State?
Unlike
the static state reports, you control the elements that get reported.
The software can help you identify students in need of intervention and
program areas that are in need of professional development. The student
database makes it possible and easy to track progress over time.
Where does the software reside?
TestWiz.Net
resides on dataMetrics' secure servers and is accessible through the
Internet. Users can log into TestWiz.Net from any computer with
Internet access. You give permission to each user account to control
the amount of data each user can access.
What kind of reports can I create?
There are over 40 report templates - ranging from student and item details to graphical summaries. View Sample Reports to see a few of the reports. Reports are easily customized to answer questions like:
- How did my Special Ed students perform in Math?
- How did they perform compared with my non-Special Ed students?
- Who are the students who have not met proficiency?
- How did my students do compared with the state item by item (assuming the state test has released items)?
- Has my school’s overall performance improved over last year?
- How have the students performed who were in my district for several test cycles?
- How did students who did not meet proficiency on the State test do compared with my local assessment?
