We are proud to announce the winners of our grant award competition!

After much deliberation, the judges selected two outstanding entries from the group to each receive a 6-month subscription of TestWiz. Both winners have a strong focus on data-driven decision making, and can benefit greatly by using our assessment processing capability to save valuable instructional time so teachers can get on to what they do best..... teaching!

Congratulations to the following winners:



Valley Cottage Elementary School
Nyack Public Schools, Valley Cottage, NY

Valley Cottage will use TestWiz to process over 900 students' Mathematics benchmark for grades 3-5. They will use the assessment data to provide Tier 1 intervention in the classroom as opposed to seeking Academic Intervention Services for students.

In using TestWiz, Valley Cottage will have the ability to:

  • Identify instructional groups based on student weakness
  • Inform staff development
  • Save tremendous time in processing local benchmarks
  • Monitor results longitudinally


P.S. 222 Katherine R. Snyder
New York City Schools, Brooklyn, NY

P.S. 222 will implement TestWiz with 900 students in grades 2-5. They will process their Spring end-of-year assessments in ELA and Mathematics. They will significantly improve building efficiency by printing customized student answer docs off, and after administration, simply scanning these answer sheets back in using their local PC.

P.S. 222 will then be able to:

  • Focus on differentiating instruction, instead of test grading
  • Access data "on the fly", to immediately inform instruction
  • Disaggregate test data down to the learning standard, demographic or customized sub-group
  • Compare local benchmark assessments to see if there is any correlation to the state tests


Beyond each schools' goals as identified above, they will have the ability to track multiple interventions concurrently, key enter literacy tests and view multiple assessment results altogether - even on one page, no matter the type of test.
